Does acne eventually become less of a problem?
As you age?I'm 17 right now, and I do have a bit more acne than I did when I was 14, but it isn't terrible maybe mild . I notice that adults don't tend to have acne as much as teenagers. So when my hormones stop raging, will my acne gradually get better? When might this happen?

I have been applying aloe vera gel and lemon juice on my red acne scars and i have seen a little improvement but nothing really big.The funny thing is that i have used aloe vera gel and lemon juice before on my red acne scars and it vanished my scars in 1 month why is it not happening now.Although before i had very small red spots and now both my cheeks are completely red.Is this the reason why it is taking such a long time also should i try mederma i have a tube but i never applied it because i have read mixed reviews on the internet some say it works on red acne scars and some say it makes it worse.I have read good reviews about honey will it work.

I've had absolutely horrible acne for the past five years, and now that I'm 17 it still shows no sings of letting up. Though concentrated on my face, it also covers my entire back and chest. I tend to get my shoulder blades full of huge puss balls. I can't wear white , gray or light t shirts in general because at some point in the day when I syretch, lean against chair in class, or hunch over to write something some of the pimples will pop and stain my shirt with blood and puss, then I have to walk around the rest of the day like that. Even when people try to pat my back, it hurts to the point where I have to muffle a yelp.These huge cysts also form on the back of my thighs butt, and they're super sensitive. Sometimes in school, if I shift around in my desk the wrong way or just put too much pressure on them, they'll pop, and it feels like someone is jamming an acid soaked hot rod into my skin. The pain is so bad I've even teared up sometimes, but to not make a scence, I just sit there trying to keep a straight face through it while clutching my desk and biting my lip or something. One time I bit too hard and even drew blood, so I try not to do that as much anymore. Fun times.My face is definitely the worse though. I genuinely can't remember the last time I looked in a mirror and some part of my face was clear. It's horrible, kills my self esteem and what little confidence I do have. I've looked around, and don't doubt to say that I'm the worst acne case in school, plus the way I can see people looking at my pimples when they're talking to me sucks.If there's an acne medication out there, I will bet you that I've tried it or some variation of the same . At this point, I was going to talk to my doctor about accutane the next appoinent I get. I was wondering about other people's experience and succes failure with it.There seems to be a lot of side effects, but I can assure you that at this point I'd even put up with the dermatologist giving me some sort of sharp peeling knife and telling me to shred the bad patches of skin off.
